TOM SEIGENTHALER believed people gain self-esteem through the creative process. He believed that art, manifested as creativity of any kind in any endeavor, must be kneaded into life — every life.

The Thomas P. Seigenthaler Fund for Creativity has revitalized his mission at Room In The Inn, where Tom taught, by establishing an Artist in Residence program.

The Artist in Residence receives a $5,000 stipend to conceive and execute 10 classes and curate an exhibit of the work.

To learn more about the program, view the 2011 Artist in Residence catalog.

The Thomas P. Seigenthaler Fund for Creativity was established in 2009 at The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to promote creative thinking and creative solutions that improve our community.
